Once when I was a teenager I felt jaded and filled with hate for how unfair things could be.. thats only because I had to watch my father drink himself to death and abuse me mentally everyday with all his jaded self-pity for how crappy his life was, yeah lets blame it on everyone else and treat other people like crap so you feel better...NOT
Then I grew up and realized that life is about overcoming hardship and realizing that you make your own joy no matter what others do to try and destroy it, no matter what bad things happen everyday around the world you can make your own paradise.. and wasting it on feeling miserable about things you cant change is selfish and a waste of what could be. My joy and hope never dwindles because I feed it all the time from within and without.. this earth is so wonderous, all the incredible life is intoxicating... sometimes when I go for a walk with my dogs I see a tiny bird or a beautiful new wildflower I havent seen before and it fills me with such joy and excitement as I cant even describe to the average person.. When I look up at the stars or watch a sunset I almost weep with the incredible feeling of awe I have to be lucky enough to see such things. Dont even get me started on the Aurora Borealis... mystical, surreal, intoxicating wonder.. sometimes I think I am so alone though in my love for these things but then I see someone like you who I wish for one second could feel what I feel for this planet this life all around us and inside of us.. and be content as I am in revelling in all its beauty.. the tiniest fungus, the brightest fall leaf atop a carpet of moss, the song of a Veery like liquid gold rippling through the air.. ahh there is hope and there is joy enough in this world for all even you if only you open your eyes and your heart.

I don't think I'm jaded. But I do think we all get to that point where we've been run over one too many times and become more cautious. I was about 9 or 10. This girl said a racist comment to me and I didn't understand it. My mom explained to me that some people would just automatically hate me because of the color of my skin. She also gave me a few colorful words to tell those people too so, it wasn't all bad. lol I just realized that the world wasn't as accepting and nice and I thought it was.

Well,most people are disillusioned with the world we 'have' to
live in these days,as well they should be.We are definitely living in
the last days of this system of things(2Tim.3:1-5)and also we
have the (God)of this system of things making things very,very
difficult for everyone.(2Cor.4:4)(1Cor.10:20)Then of course man
is guilty of ignoring God's commandments,and refusing to pay
heed to Jesus Christ's example's of leading a life in harmony with
his teachings.However, their is a way to gain inner peace and still
have peace and joy in ones life.The admonishment at John 17:3,
is the way to start down that road.."This means everlasting life
their taking in knowledge of you,the only true God, 'Jehovah' and
the one whom you sent forth,Jesus Christ." As You gain more
and more truth and knowledge you become more at peace with
yourself because you realize that you can actually gain the very
knowledge of Jehovah.......And it is a wonderful thing to have.
