Not only does it burn fat, but if you drink it regularly it will flush your system quick. A cup of green tea every night before bed WILL show results.

It's said to increase metabolism, and it has antioxidants to boot. But don't expect to drop clothing sized because of tea - it's what you give up in the rest of your diet that matters... that, and exercise.
