I had already connected a new component connectors to my hdtv & still it only display blue colors? pls. help?

i tried connecting my dvd player to a hdtv component inputs using a new RGB connectors but still the display only blue color. But when 1 use the s-video its ok. How can i fix this problem?

Reverse the Red and blue cables on one side
Is it still blue or red? (should be red now)
Reverse both sides of red and blue. If the color changed, then you have a bad cable, if it is still blue, you might have a bad input or output connector.

Double check that all RGB cables are firmly connected and in their proper jack and nothing is switched.
Also, you may have a bad RGB cable.
