How can I make him see that becoming a cat is the only way?

Buy him a plane ticket to North Korea or Cambodia.
Tell him you'll use that ticket and ship him there if he doesn't become a tiger.
When he becomes a tiger, he'll be more valuable on the chinese market.

Apparently, the best way to get someone (or something) to convert is to threaten them with what happens if they don't. Try telling him god will spay him unless he converts
