Whats your daily intake calorie amount? and stat info about you...how often do you work out?

I'm currently working on losing some weight, so I try to keep my calories between 1200 and 1500 a day. I gained about 20 lbs at the end of last year that I need to get rid of...and I'm 42 so it's not as easy as it once was.

Don't go under 1000 cals a day w/o consulting a doctor. The previous poster's calorie intake is WAY too low and when that occurs, metabolic rate drops and losing weight becomes more difficult...not to mention, it's just downright unhealthy because the body isn't getting the fuel it needs to function properly.

I workout 5 - 7 days a week and I shoot for at least 1 hour. That hour is often all at one time and typically consists of (lately) aerobics and some toning exercises. When my work schedule allows it, I prefer to workout 2x a day. Around 1 hour morning and evening.

For a while I was walking/jogging but I fell and injured my leg and haven't been back out at it again, but hope to soon. I'd like the weather to warm up and want to start on the beach ( sand), where the impact isn't so bad.

my dailey intake of calories is anywhere from 600-1000, i try not to go over 1000 and it's pretty easy for me. Umm...i work out every day. I run for 30 minutes, i walk for about 30 minutes to an hour, i do squats, sit ups, leg lifts, and push ups.

umm well...mine is 500...(probably not so healthy) but when it was almost average mine was 1500 and i work out everyday for a long amount of time but then again...im a TAD bit obsessive
