I met a linguist when I was in college who can speak 34 languages & dialects fluently. I think that's pretty impressive, but she said she's nowhere close to be the best in the world.

I don't think he speaks the most languages, but I'm rather impressed with Jean Reno, who can speak fluent Spanish, French, Italian, English, and Japanese. That's pretty good!

Very interesting question. Maybe the guiness book of world records would have something documented...very interesting to know. It would be a testament to the human brain.
