Well, I used to have 5 strips over color in my hair. The strips were about an inch and a half wide. The strips [one was located- visibly- in my bangs. two were located- hidden a little bit by a few layers but still visible- about at my ears, and the last two- same as the ones near my ears- were near the back of my head]. It was a good way to die them and I died those 5 strips any color you can possibly think of, I loved it.

Much better then dying your whole head- which i also did and is a LOT of upkeep.

But on the color subject. Orange, eh, never really looks good. Same with green, green washes out into this nappy yellow-y color. Think purple, hot pink, robin's egg blue. Mix that with just platinum blonde or black and your set!

One of my favorite things to do, and I still love to do it, is just to by hair extensions of different colors [any color under the sun- by 'em all] and you can put them in and out whenever you want. you can also mix up all the colors and go rainbow, which is amazing.

My daughter has her hair black with bright red bangs & red chunks in the black. She has had it that way for a couple of months. Now she is going to try a neon purple. I think the blue colors & the bright greens look good too! Try whatever seems the most fun when you look at them!

Since I moved to this college town I've seen green hair, blue hair, purple, you name it I've probably seen it, but the one that stands out in my mind the most was the multi colored hair.

It was in natural shades, but many different shades. I looked like they had frosted their hair, but in about 8 different colors. It was amazing to look at, and time consuming I'm sure.

Some I've talked to have gotten the veggie dye packets from the professional hair shops and some I've talked to merely used koolaide (but that only seems to really work if your hair is light colored).

well it depends on your eye color. If your eye color is a blue or green i say blue or orange. If your eye color is gray, brown, or red you should go with pink or green.

I think a deep brown, the new hair color adopted by
Jessica Simpson and Hillary Duff...it will also look great on you, as it will go with your eyes.
