I am 18, not very religious, and still in high school. I think my problem is that I am not the most popular guy in school and I am kinda antisocial as far as school activities go. Also my "friends" don't do anything social at all, so they don't help. Any suggestions on where I can meet girls or just people my age to hang out with?

Exact same thing I am on the same road but I kinda found help with it. Will tell you things that don't help. Looking in the paper for singles night, that is for old people. Honestly, parties...you have to be there and actually talk those help. Go to as many things as possible. DO social things. If all these don't appeal...you'll have to find that antisocial girl..you made friends right? I go to sical things and don't socialize feel like an idiot and leave. Really you have to open up. It is honestly all confidence I am trying to get my friends to do the same. They are all taking steps to get social. Think of it this way...there is a picture and on that picture there are people having fun and having a great time..and then there is that loner who isn't talking....your are gonna go where the fun is.

Hi there! I think the first thing that you can do is to be socialize. I know you said you're not but that is where you should begin. You should start to do extra curicular activities in your school. I'm sure there are many organizations in your school, pick one that really interests you or whatever talent you have that you think you want to enhance more or you want other people to discover. Do you like singing? do you play any instrument? or do you have any sports? or perhaps writing or acting? All people have their own talent so I'm sure you have one. If you are sociable then you'll meet a lot of people not only girls or not only people your age. And then from there, you'll make more friends and those new friends of yours will introduce you to their other firends. But just a reminder you should also be wise in choosing your friends. I think you know what I mean. I hope this writing helped.

Your best chance at finding a girl is by being confident and not being anti-social. You could start by going to some of those events at school and by not being afraid to walk up to a girl and ask her her name. You need to find people with similar interests as you so you should go hang out at concerts if you like music or school dances if you like dancing. Get your friends to do this with you and maybe as a group you can all find someone that you like to hang out with.

Well if your not religious you better start cause the best place to find a girlfriend is in the church and to let you in on a little secret the church girls are usually the wildest.

Put your antisocial behavior on the shelf temporarily and pick just one activity you enjoy and take part. You'll find people (girls too!) who enjoy the same.

Hey men, I had the same problem you have, and you know? if you wanna know new people, you gotta do new stuff, IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU AREN'T GOOD AT IT, just do it to know people, and don't care about being popular, just be yourself, and you will achieve much more than just being popular.
