because that is the way we humans are born we have feelings and we need someone to show those feelings to and receive feelings from. sometimes...well a lot of times, love brings us unexpected and unbearable pain. But we need to realize that true and unconditionaly love is just about giving (which ofcourse is very hard to do-to just give and not expect anything in return) but we as humans are also programmed to expect things and appreciation in return. Sucks! don't it?

Good Question I believe we are taught to love, sometimes it does come embedded in us but mostly we are taught through our parents, our teachers, our friends and following rules make us love for instance do you remember when your teacher told you treat other how you want to be treated I believe that sometimes things we were taught when we were younger make us feel the way that we do now. Think about that saying is so we can be fair to to be fair is to love everyone equally forgetting their faults and sometimes that leads us to a deeper love when it comes to relationships
