If you wish to investigate treatment at the Univ. of Ia. College of Dentistry, here are details on treatments available and how to become a patient. You would need to be examined before a recommendation would be made about your treatment. I note that if you are treated by a student in a student clinic, fees are lower than those charged by dentists in private practice. Also, if you are treated by a resident who is in a post-doctoral specialty program, a somewhat reduced graduate fee is charged. Faculty also run a clinic but their fees approximate what private practice dentists might charge.

If you wish to have your teeth fixed closer to home, be aware that some dentists provide access to a credit plan where you would pay in installments for your treatment. This is especially useful for expensive procedures.

Your first task is to have a complete examination and estimate of what it might cost to fix your teeth, then go from there. Sometimes there is more than one option available. You need to know what those options are before you commit to a treatment plan.

Is there any chance that you would qualify for Medicaid?
