That's a big question for a little island like Samui. There's a lot of places to stay and a lot of alternatives.

My best advise is to check out the pictures, and research the beaches you want to stay at, but really the place is tiny and nothing's more than a 30-45 min drive.

Here goes with a bit of a breakdown. You can sort the options by last minute deals ( with free inclusions - just dig deep into the offers behind the prices to find these ) or up to a year in advance, price star rating and location.

The pictures will tell a thousand words, but as you can see prices generally range from around $30 to $150 per night, per room. You can obtain cheaper accommodation on the island - but it's very basic, and of course you can upgrade to better rooms on arrival - usually at a very minot increment, as the rooms otherwise go unsold.
