3
theres still 3 frogs just ones in the water and 2 on the logs

hmm let me think...
it's either none because when one jumped off, then all fell off the log,

2 left because 3 - 1 = 2,

or 3 because the frog didn't disappear, it just moved. or maybe it's 3 because you never specified where it jumped - maybe it just jumped into the hollow part of the log? so there are still 3 left?

now if the answer is 1, i'll feel pretty stupid because i gave answers to 0, 2, and 3. so please don't tell me the answer is 1!

It was three frogs still on the log because they just only made a decision

None

The log was actually a crocodile.

The noise of the frog that jumped hitting the water woke it up, it then ate them all.

OR

Three, just not on all on the log.

Same as the old one about 3 birds sitting on a branch and someone shooting one with a gun.

Question is - how many birds were left on the branch?

Of course the answer is NONE - They flew off because of the noise of the gun

2 would be there?

I think 3 because one made a decision but didn't actually jump in yet.

or

When you say once it means used to then there would be none left.

Three still on a log.You didn't state how many decided to jump in."on" isn't a number,LOL However, you meant "one",so two were left undecided....
