i found someting about paradores, but i cannot trust them,,how are these paradores

There are many small inns in the metro and touristic area. Paradores are perfect for that person who is looking to disconnect from the world; but their locations are either the country side or west beach area. My best advice to you will be to visit www.gotopuertorico.com and click on the Interactive Map link to your bottom left. Then select the type of accommodations and area. This will give you some yellow dots according to your matches. Click on them to see the list of hotels, guest houses or small inns that matched your search criteria. You can see pictures, info on amenities and locations. It will be very helpful.

Paradores of Puerto Rico is chain of small hotels located around the island, not in the Metropolitan area of San Juan. I will recommended to visit the official page of the Commonwealth of P. R. or check the Que Pasa Magazine.

You have some good advice here, so I'll give you some links where you can research further and also sort and compare accommodation. The prices on this directory are higher than you want to pay - but at least it will give you some perspective.
Use the sort filters to help you with arranging price and location.
Then have a look at the National Tourism website for Puerto Rico - this is you best source of info.
