I have a crush on this guy, hes in 8th grade and hes either 13 or 14, i'm in 10th grade and i'm 15, going to be 16 in about 3 monthes, i'm on the younger end of the grade. I met him in a theater group i'm in and have known him for about 2 years. We are kinda friends but don't see each other outside of theater. We are in different school systems. Hes slightly taller than me. He seems really mature fo rhis age. Hes really cool, but i'm afraid of what people will think and about what he'll say if i ask him out. Also we don't live extremly close(i'm not sure how far) adn i'm worried about that too. What shoudl I do.

Yeah, it may not seem like much of an age difference, but as soon as you enter highschool, its sort of taboo to date anyone who isn't in highschool or above. The maturity levels are really different, and you'll be in a much different environment than him, highschool is life, he's till palying school. (I hopw you get what I mean by that lol)

Nothing can stand between true love. Yea I know it's kinda cliche to bring that in here xD But anyway, I think you should go for it. Don't care about what others think of you, it's what the two of you feel for each other that matters. If you like him then just ask him out, or at least hint that you like him. If you don't try you'd never know, and even if he refuses to go out with you(which is quite impossible based on your description), then at least you wouldn't lose sleep over not knowing the answer.

Good luck! :D

Well there is nothing wrong going with a guy younger than you, but you two will have a hard time seeing each other because either of you drive yet. Maybe try getting his phone number and start from there.

No way, girl! That is not to old 4 you. It's kinda funny, cause the guy I've got a crush on is in 7th grade and I'm in 8th grade!
