According to CARM ( Christian Apologetics Research Ministry ) it is their underlying belief of faith that :

"The Bible is the Word of God, and that its original manuscripts are free from errors and contradictions. It is the one and only infallible, authoritative, and trustworthy rule for faith and life."

Do you think that having this as a staring point in their " research " equips them to come to honest and open conclusions based on logic and reason ?

If this is the basis of their worldview, it is not surprising that they are not considered a scientific body.

They are trying to make reality fit the bible. Oftentimes this does not work, no matter how tortuous their arguments.

Absolutely, honest and open-no question. "Based on logic and reason", nope, not at all. But based on the belief that the original manuscripts are free from error.
If they based on "logic and reason", then who's logic and reason do you choose? Some one could logically reason that based on some scholars (scoffer) (atheist) (evolutionist) work that part of the Bible is wrong. Then you would be dead in the water.
If we can not start with the "assumption" that God is really "GOD", then why should we start.

Here we go again. Absolutely, free of error, contradictions, infallible, authoritative, and trustworthy Bible number 2666.

All Christians fall in line and cry hose Anna.

If they pay some shekels I'll edit and proof read for them. Of course there may be little left to worship like a graven image when I get through with their version.

I'll give odds they won't even look at the books of Nicodemus, Paul's epistle to the Laodiceans, etc., etc.

Pelosi and Reid could be put in trial for using 1000's of tens of millions of taxpayer money (or maybe even billions, they gained't enable us to work out what they are doing) to bribe and pay off different Senators and Congressmen to help their wellness Care costs. what's happening spectacular now in Washington is previous outrageous.

I doubt it. But then most websites are somewhat biased. What I REALLY resent is I often see people answering questions about my faith using that site. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. We openly answer questions about our beliefs. Yet when someone starts a site saying that what they say goes, about things they might not even know about, people start quoting it. I once had someone say on here, not sure what site they got it from, that we are not allowed to use Aluminum. I laugh everytime I drink my Rootbeer.
