If not do you no of any kind of shampoos or conditioners that can lighten my hair??

it does not always work! but you do need light!!!

nope even with the sunits just gets sticky and brownish w/o teh sun it wont do anything... try using a hair lightening shampoo or sun in or something

I have never tried it. It would probably make it dry and feel like hay. So if you try it, make sure you use a good hot oil treatment afterwards.
