I met this guy online and we have been talking during a whole year. We talk every single day. It suppose he was gonna come to see me to my country, he lives in Italy but then he thought it again and said no. He said no because his parents are very old and he takes care of them so he asked me to go down Italy. I started to save money but now I am doubting if it is a good decision.
When I come to talk to him I take it as it would be a date: I focus on him, say my best words...I feel like in a date and I only focus on him so I go invisible. But it is not the same case about him...he does not take it so seriously as I do. Lately when I talk him about important issues it seems he does not care too much...you know he is talking to someone else and what I am telling him seems like not very important. I take the whole thing as a date and I thought if this would be face to face talking to someone else while I talk to him would be like I talk by cellphone during date.

So I don't know if it worths going from America to Europe to meet someone who can't pay me attention and take me as a date and I don't know if it worths going for someone who said I am coming and after changed his mind

Your answering your own questions. you know in your heart what to do. If he really likes you or is into you and you've been talking for a year, have him foot some of the bill( if you do decide to go) pay for half your ticket(since he can't come to America) or pay for your hotel for two days to ease your finacial woe( make sure you get a hotel comformation # before you fly out). I am in the same situation as you. met A great guy online, been talking to him daily for a year and he is coming out to visit me in 6 weeks for one week. I plan to pay for two days at a hotel for him. good luck

sweetie, its definitely not worth it. How do you know he's not lying about his grandparents. What are you going to do if you get there and he's not what he seems. It happens all the time!!! don't you want someone you can see all the time, go out with, introduce to your friends and family. This guy lives in a different continent and culture. He could be mentally ill, a criminal, a rapist (etc). People are not always what they seem. That's why some people get divorced after being married 2-3 months b/c they realize they don't really know the person after dating for 6 months. Be very careful and please, don't put your life in danger. Bad things happen to good people all the time!!! Good luck!!!!

So what happens if you two hit it off (if you visited him). What then? Are you prepared to consider moving to Italy? Apparently he wouldn't move to the US unless his parents passed away.
I wouldn't go over. He doesn't appear interested enough, and I'm really big on the guy making the first trip when you meet someone online that lives out of your area.
I vote no.

mmm well first off its a risky decision if youve never met the person
you could alwyas go as a vacation and visit italy ,itd be nice im sure, and then one day just tell him to meet you at some resteraunt if he doesnt pay attention you dont have to talk to him again and continue on your vacation
just be careful ppl on the internet are not really trusty these days

Do not go he is not worth it. If he were at all interested in you, he would make every effort to see you. you need to move on and fine someone closer to where you live.

No, it's not worth it- save ur money for something that u've been wanting, like clothes, or whatever. U sound like u're from another country, so don't waste ur money on him. I don't think he's worth it. Sorry!

why might u prefer to fulfill somebody over yahoo solutions... they could be like phsycos or somebody diverse than they describe their selves in the event that they insult u may be the bigger individual and forget approximately approximately it...
