You will love it.
Been twice...would love to go again.
Lots of history and culture and shopping at Harrod's.
You'll adjust to the currency.
Have a great time.

The currency is different in some ways, but easy to get the hang of. It's my favorite place on earth. There's so much to do and see and the people are great. Make sure you do some day trips to other places though. London is very different than the rest of the British Isles.

First of all, what kind of trip were you planning on taking, tour, on your own. Think about that. There is a great hostel called St. Christophers Village on Borough High Street with laundry facilities, bar attached, hot tub and sauna on roof, great people and close to everything. Within walking distance of the Tate Gallery and the Globe. The exchange rate is terrible our money is worth only half of what theirs is worth. check www.xe.com/ucc/ for currency exchange. London is a great place lot's to do, easy to get around. good luck

Thee best place on the planet! I love London, and who says it really rains? Any way do some tours but make sure you take sometime and enjoy the society itself. Bring twice as much money, for ex. you take 300 dollars..get it converted and you'll only have 150 pounds. It's better to change your money in the city and not at the air port or train station. make sure to take a walk around Hyde Park too. It's good luck. well it was for me. Have fun.

I say go for it! But please read up on it first, you don't want to look like an ignorant tourist and it will also help you spend your money more wisely
