Yes the truth is preached there and i think that is what scares most people away it's not sugar coated and its all taught from the Bible. I got to church to praise and learn about God and i just get discouraged thats all. I love going to a small church wouldnt have it any other way. I was just asking for ideas! Thanks!

What you have is probably considered a home Bible study not a church. If your leader is continuing to grow and learn and you are growing and learning, then I don't see a big problem unless you feel out of place. If you are hearing the same things over and over then you should probably seek a new church. There is nothing wrong with meeting in just a small group as long as your growing in God. It also helps if you get along really well. One last thing to add, if there is another church close by that you can get together with on outings or fun activities then you should check it out. We are getting together to know God and love and thank God then you should have that in common and there should be no problem with congregating. Good luck and God bless.

Do you attend the church because it helps you get close to God or because it gets you closer to the people in your community (family)?

If it's not doing the first, you should also leave. The purpose of a church is not to feed the pastor and his family or to gather a group of friends together, it's supposed to be a place where you can learn about your faith and grow in your relationship with God. If your intention is to socialize, then you can do that somewhere other than a church. Apparently everyone else can too.

Have you thought about any outreach activities? Maybe something for kids that will bring in parents too, like vacation Bible school or 5 day clubs, or a once a week club? Church supper's could bring in some military people missing homecooked meals. How about a concert? A mom's group with free child care? Ask your pastor about having a church meeting to talk about outreach ideas. Don't jump ship until you've tried to improve the church where you are.

Are you hearing the Word taught there? If not I'd say move on. If you are then you at least have a foundation to work with. Starting a small Bible study group in your home is a great idea, but don't forget to include food

hi there

If people want to know what GOD is like, they can look at jesus,If they want to know what Jesus is like ,they should be able to look at his followers , can people see christ in you?

God is here in our midst. The king is here seeking to rule in our hearts right now. So this concept that where two or three are gathered, there he is in our midst is a powerful truth.

Do not look at what others do or do not do but gather in prayer for them . seek the lord for you are beside him and he with you. for if you seek the sins of others in what they do and say you too will fall from the grace of god. When the lord returns as I belive to be ( that.s my faith) salvation is one on one and what excuse will we give the lord for our sins and purpose in life. will you tell the lord I did not go to church cause no one else went or would u tell the lord I seek you as you demand. where a few stand in his name in the house of prayer the lord and his angels are there.

faith faith prayer prayer .

be well be safe god bless
