That banana brain is lucky to be alive!

BAL depends on a number of factors, including your friend's body mass, how quickly he drank those bottles, if he had anything to eat and any non-alcoholic drinks with the alcohol, and the proof of the booze he drank. Did you mean to say Absolut brand vodka, by any chance?

He lied. If he drank 3 bottles, he would have died.

BAL or BAC (content) is measured as the fraction of blood that is comprised of alcohol. So BAC = volume of booze/ Volume of blood.

2.5 means that he had 2.5 times more alcohol in him that he did blood. More than 0.48 and you're DEAD. And that roughly translates into 24 shots. Now, he says that he had 3 bottles...what's that, 60 shots?

Lies my friend, lies. He probably had more along the lines of 7-8 shots...about 1/3 bottle of vodka.

Now go call him a looser.

Alcohol dehydrates you, yet water hydrates. it rather is the reason you're meant to have a large glass of water after ingesting in extra. between the theorized motives you get a hangover is via the severe dehydration.

Yes, he could have a blood alcohol level or 2.5 but probably much higher. You don't state how much a bottle contains, so it's hard to judge.

No he didn't. Unless he weighed a thousand pounds or more the first bottle would've killed him before he finished it.
