I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1995.It's not a good companion but you can live your life fairly well if you learn your triggers and learn not to overdo. When you are tired or hurt, you stop and sit or lie down.If it hurts when you do it 1 time don't do it again.Get lots of sleep even if you have to do it a little bit at a time. Eat well and have people who care about you check on you daily.Bad days are bad but there are alright days also.Hang in there and decide to live as best you can. It ain't going anywhere but you can adapt.GOOD LUCK!

My mother in law has fibro, lupus, chronic pain syndrome, and asthma. She is in pain every day due to the combo, but takes lots of drugs to deal. If you think that you may have fibro, then you should tell your doctor and be referred to a specialist. Fibro is linked with MS and Lupus, so don't delay in getting checked out. The quicker they diagnose and treat the better. I wish I could tell you that your pain will go away, but I can tell you that there is help out there. I wish you luck.
