Nope, it actually feels a little funny when the pressure is taken off but it doesn't hurt at all.

Very much so, when I had my braces taken off, I cried for about a week, it hurt so damn much that I wanted to hit the dentist, I think he left some emotional scars that will never go away, The dentist started laughing when I was in pain, he had no compassion for the way I felt....I hope this eased the worry for you.

It does not hurt it actually feels kind of nice when they are done. Make sure that you go to the dentist right away for a cleaning and exam. When I got mine off, the Dr. cracked my molars on accident and I did not find out right away. Be careful and follow up exactly as you are instructed so they don't go back to the way they were. :o)

Nope you'll feel no pain at all. At most you will feel uncomfortable after having opened your mouth for so long :P

I don't remember it hurting when the dentist took them off. I just remember them feeling weird especially rubbing my tongue across the front of my teeth.

Not at all. I didn't like the feeling of them scraping the cement off of my teeth, though.

When they scrape the cement off it's unpleasant, but not painful.

No not at all, you can only feel when they pull them of with the wire cutter, but thats it, and its not painful at all.
