Does anyone know how to block people from calling your house phone w/o calling the phone comp.?

I think that's the only way you do it, although, there are automated services - such as voicemail settings. I think you can do the same with the list of blocked numbers, you can do it yourself without actually having to talk to an operator at the phone company.
