Oak color hmm you did not say if it is Dark, natural or medium. So i would go with a Honey color then your other favor it colors or what other color is in the room

You can use almost anything with oak furniture. If the furniture is stained a light golden oak, or a darker "black" oak, many things go well. Light oak looks particularly good with oranges, turquoises, chocolate browns, navy blue, and white, of course. I might try a red couch with toast throw pillows, or if the furniture is darker, try white with Navy acccents, or turquoise with yellow accents.

You do not need to chose the color based on the oak furniture. You need to chose the color based on what color of carpeting or rugs you have in the room, the color of the walls, or the color of the window treatments. Need more information to help you decide. Sorry !

How about a warm tan with a slightly darker accept wall, or a warm tan with a olive tone accept wall.
