All dogs like to chew, and as pups they do it more, but for
most of their lives they like to have something to chew. A nice
bone and some toys usually work, they keep the dog occupied,
so to speak.

But to prevent your dog from chewing on things other than
bones or toys, I would suggest you buy a product called
apple bitter, and it's a spray that you can put on the things that
you don't want chewed. It is harmless to your pet and it works.

I have several dogs and they only play with their toys. I put
all my shoes in the closet, and the garbage can is something
that they can't get into. I spend time playing with them, so
they will be more interested in their toys also.

If that does not work, your dog might have a problem with one
or more of his teeth. I have had that problem before.

Good luck

Does she have her own toys to play with??
This might be her way of getting attention.
I would suggest:

Put your shoes away so she cant get at them.

Keep her out of the rooms that have your stuffed animals, and dont give her a stuffed animal as a toy, she doesn't know the difference between what is hers and yours.

Put a set mouse trap in the trash can. Put it right on top, when she goes in the trash it will snap and scare her. I did this with my "weiner dog from hell". I set the trap right before I went to bed, and I closed my bedroom door. Before I could even get into bed "WDFH" was into the can.. We heard SNAP, and Yelp... she never did it again..

Make sure she has plenty of her own toys, and play with her with "her" toys.. and be patient.. shes still a kid.

Keep the trash out of her reach.

AS for everything else, she is probably not getting enough exercise. Plus, if she hasn't been trained, she is probably more anxious than other trained dogs are. Take her to a good training class and give her a minimum of a half hour walk every day.

Give her things to do, she sounds bored, bored, bored.

I have a beagle that LOVES to chew everything to shreds. One thing that I've found that absolutely stops her in her tracks....I take a spray bottle and mix equal parts lemon juice and water and I spray it on her bedding and anything else she shouldn't be chewing on. She hasn't chewed one single thing since. Evidently dogs don't like the taste....

I presume she's doing that when you're not around. Do you leave her to have a free reign of the house when nobody is home?
I had to crate my two dogs (after 4 years of cleaning the house nearly every night after I came home from work), somewhat because I got tired of it, they destroyed just about anything destroyable and also to protect them from hurting themselves. I wish I didn't have to do it, but sometimes it's the only way to go.

whilst i flow on walks with my dogs, she stops and sniffs each and each piece of poop she comes for the time of. this is basically what dogs do. She's in no way tried to eat poop, notwithstanding that's somewhat annoying attempting to take her for a walk and having to stop each 4 ft because of the fact there's a clean piece of poo.

She doesn't like being alone maybe? Or there's something that is bothering her. Are you paying her enough attention? Taking her out for walks? Playing with her? Stop and think a bit.

she is seeking attention and dogs need a leader of the pack. You need to get her into a training regiment. petsmart offer an affordable training program. Call and ask about it and they can help with specific problems.
