I'd like to go on a diet to lose some weight in my midsection. I would like to be able to eat seafood, chicken..and vegetables and fruits...any suggestions on how I could lose weight but still eat my favorites in these food groups??

Low carb diets do this very quickly. It's not the easiest thing in the world and not an option for everyone, but you would have to cut the sugar, breads, potatoes & pastas and pile on the protein and green veggies. Sorry, but not a lot of fruits fall into this category, but you would only have to do this for a couple of weeks. The South Beach Diet has really tasty meals that achieve this goal.

As for excersise.....amp up the cardio, especially if you're having to twist your midsection a lot. Kickboxing works, (you won't have to do AS MANY crunches) so does running and volleyball approaches. Pilates is great if you don't want impact on the joints and you want to strengthen and lengthen the core muscles.

One day, you look down, and the stomach fat is gone.

Unfourunatly there is no way to loose weight in a specific area. Think of your body as a popcicle, where you have the least it will melt quicker, than areas where there is more. All of those foods are wonderfull to eat while dieting, but exersise is the key. A few months of cardio 3 or 4 times a week should do the trick. Also keep in mind your portion size. Your stomach is only the size of your fist!

Those are the things your supposed to eat .Don't eat fruit along with your other foods.Fruit is a cleanser Pick a day and go on a fruit fast.Use the fruits in season in your area. And............dance baby dance,lots of breathing,that adds oxygen to your cells and helps your body do what it's supposed to do with fat ......stay away from bread

Before dieting you should first check with your doc to determine which diet would be best for you. At the same time, you should look into a good exercise program. Think about Curves.

To lose weight successfully,you should know the food that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT!!!
