he will be in chicago for 8 months.
well we decided to be "single" while he is gone.
i still want to be with him...&& i beleive in my hert 8 weeks from now i'll feel the same way.
i want to get to know his family [ esp his mom ] but i don't know if that is a good idea.
we've never really talked before.
she has a great sence of humour but a short temper.
w/o him there idk how well we'd conversate...i know she likes me...but i want her to love me.
what should I do??
shoud i stay close to his family or not?

give his mum a call to see how she is coping with him being in the navy. you both share a love for this man and you should build on that. also, find something interesting about her and complement her on it, or just be a shoulder to lean on. don't cry your heart out or she will prob back off. you could also try catching up together for a coffee or inviting them out with your parents. good luck!
