I totally agree. I am constantly throwing food out because it went bad before I could eat it all! And then when you do buy stuff in like a single serving, it costs twice as much. Not fair to people that don't live in families of 15.

Do your wages flow right away right into a financial enterprise a/c? if so open yet another a/c in say a construction society and make a s/o for an volume to be paid out the day after your wages are paid. £25 a week could be adequate, so which you do no longer omit it, even nonetheless it is going to quickly mount up weekly/month-to-month. That way you would understand on the returned of your concepts you do have some decrease fee expenses for a wet day. next do you draw little bits of money each and all of the time as you want it for coffee, snacks etc. artwork out the cheap a week and draw that money out on the beginning up of the week, then save thinking, this has have been given to final me, do i could spend this. on the top of the week, with a bit of luck you're able to have some left over, put in a separate handbag, then while there is adequate, handle yourselves to a outing, holiday to cinema, meal although.

Go buy some cheese, for your wine! Im single, and I eat just fine and dont throw out any food because it went bad. Its called a freezer and left-overs. Its called having some creativity in the kitchen. I used to live just south of Houston, not too long ago. Every year for Thanksgiving the 3 major grocery chains would give away turkeys up to 20lbs if you bought $50 or $75 worth of other food. Guess how many turkeys I would get each Thanksgiving for free, THREE. I would buy a couple roasts and other things that arent cheap but I would use and get my free turkey. And I would cook that 20lb bird and have left over turkey for a week to create new dishes or sandwiches or whatever. Then after I was done eating turkey, I would cook off that 5lb prime rib and eat that for a couple days, or cut it up and have rib eye steaks anytime I was in the mood for a good steak. I dont understand your complaint. Learn how to cook, then learn how to shop.

Ask them if you can tear the box in half and only buy that half :).
I don't know how to help you with the egg situation because my stores all have the 6 egg boxes. But you can buy most stuff in smaller packs, like milk, dinners, meat, etc.

You CAN buy six eggs, your market probably just doesn't sell them. You can also buy 1/2 or 1/4 of a gallon of milk, single steaks...

we live in such abundance that 12 eggs are pretty cheap, and it's not profitable for the store to sell small amounts of food.

So they can make money off of people who don't require a loaf of bread/5 sticks of butter.
If they only have it in certain amounts, you'll buy it even if you waste it.
