my sister had anorexia and somehow she wound up in a hospital psychiatric ward to try to help her stop the anorexia...not sure even to this day how she got there, but think she checked herself in.. we don't bring up the subject anymore, for fear she will start again...

you could check out books at the library on anorexia and bulemia to start out (I think Cherry Boone wrote one)...and you could get counseling from a psychologist or psychiatrist to help you understand WHY you do this...

Most eating disorders are treated with a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and medication (antianxiety or antidepressants) for the best results. The medication helps with the compulsion to purge, and the therapy helps you identify the thoughts that are driving your behavior and begin to adjust them.
There are several options for help. If you have a physician that you usually visit, or have seen in the past, he or she can refer you to a care provider, which will most likely be outpatient (since you are voluntarily seeking help and are not posing an immediate danger to yourself), and involve a multidisciplinary team (psychologist, psychiatrist, nutritionist, etc). The physician will also do lab work to see and treat the imbalances that are causing the sympoms you mentioned. You may also go to your local Community Mental Health Center. They may offer you outpatient services (counseling sessions that you can attend a certain number of days/ week, support groups, nutritional services to help you develop healthy eating and exercise habits you are comfortable with, and so on) or refer you to services that will be better suited to your situation (depending on insurance coverage, etc)
The National Eating Disorders website offers a treatment referrals service (showing providers and facilities in your area that offer treatment for eating disorders if you enter your state).

School guidance counselors or counseling centers can also provide resources if you are still enrolled in high school or college.
Please don't think you have to "get yourself out of this." Your right, it is not something you can just stop or turn off like switch. Don't be embarassed or nervous about calling any of these sources and seeking help. The whole purpose of these organizations are to help you become healthy again. It is very admirable that you have recognized that you have an eating disorder and that you are beginning to seek help. You don't have to do this on your own when there are so many people available to help you. There is a cycle involved that you may not be able to break until you treat underlying aspects that may be beyond your awareness.
I'm sorry that you have to go through this. Best wishes with your treatment.

(im rele one to talk...sarcasm...because of my question earlier) but try talking to people who will help. obviously (if your in any situation like mine) it would be more difficult to talk to your parents about it so tell a good friend. honestly you can't do it alone and if you constantly have people nagging you about it and caring and insuring you that your fine the way you are you might actually start to believe it. it could help. and if you can tell your parents try that. tell a doctor or a teacher if you cant tell your parents. and i would say tell a guidence counselor but if your schools like mine they are of no assistence. well. i hope it helps. (and when you go to puke. remember. it screws up your teeth. it can put holes in your throat. in ruins your stomach. it spirals downward.) And for some people laxitives dont even work. because your body already has broken apart the food by the time it goes in effect (for some people that is)... hope it helps doll [[and just to add something not to be rude but well. my boyfriend was awesome..but he didnt pull me out of it...he knew that i would get mad. and it would "ruin things for me" so he didnt he knew i would hate it. so thats not always the case]]

To be honest, you will require emergency treatment...due to the symptoms including jaundice complexion (this means that your bilirubin is affected). Go to the emergency room with your symptoms and they should be able to help you from there...it is critical that you seek emergency treatment or you will surely die ... no joke.

Jaundice is yellowing of the skin, sclerae, and other tissues caused by excess circulating bilirubin.

Overview of Bilirubin Metabolism

The breakdown of heme produces bilirubin (an insoluble waste product) and other bile pigments. Bilirubin must be made water-soluble to be excreted. This transformation occurs in five steps: formation, plasma transport, liver uptake, conjugation, and biliary excretion.

You are too far deep into this to get out by yourself. Has anyone noticed this? Oh and if your boyfriend was a good guy he would take you to a freakin hospital to get you some help! You can pull through this i know it, you just need professional help first. Its the only way.
