Apple is a hardware company, so, unfortunately, in order to have that great Mac OS, you have to buy the hardware to run it. You can run Windows on the Mac though.

No, apple are too money grubbing for that to happen, Os x is mac specific, and therefore will not run on anything BUT mac.
