Marches are a great choice because the have a nice cadence to walk to. A classical book of songs will usually have a ton of different marches--I personally walked down the aisle to March of the Royal Fireworks.

Vivaldi-Four Seasons works well. You could pick any section.
Also try, any of the Air or Water songs--I belive by Handel. But there are like four or five different ones.
Trumpet Voluntary is popular
Clair de Lune for a softer sweeter sound

Look this up--or if you aren't canadian look up 40 Famous Marches on Amazon.

Or Greatest Trumpet Hits.
You could use a soundtrack song from a movie. When I Fall In Love, Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman, Time For Us, Titanic, Music of the Night (Phantom of the Opera), Memories (Cats)

I played All I Ask Of You from Phantom of the Opera during the ceremony and it was beautiful. I'm sure you could walk down the aisle to that too.

Some brides even use more modern songs like Shania Twain's From this Moment or Clint Blacks When I say I do, Garth Brooks In Another's Eyes.

While I am perfectly ok with a love song being played during the ceremony, I like the bride walking down the aisle to a more traditional song. I feel it's more dignified and elegant. But depends on the style of wedding you are having. I didn't want to walk down the aisle to the traditional wedding march either.

Hope those lists help. Trumpet Voluntary or Vivaldi's Spring are probably your best bets. Hope you enjoy and good luck!

I walked down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary. Below I've listed a site from Barnes and Noble where you can listen to that piece plus 37 others that are perfect for weddings.

Any song you want actually. A lot of couples are chosing their favorite songs for the bride's glorious entrance. Just keep in mind the length of the song and if you want a certain portion to be heard before reaching the end of the aisle. For a quick breather before the officiant starts the actual ceremony you may want the song to play a bit longer.

my friend used an instrumental version of DAnny Boy. which was fitting since her husband is an army medic in afghanistan.

i like the idea of using songs from movies. i like Aniron from Lord of the Rings, and Come What May from MoulinRouge. there's also my heart will go on from Titanic...if you like that movie...celine dion has really good love songs!

i'm eitehr going to use Aniron, or an instrumental version of the Skye Boat song (because the melody is really pretty, but i don't like the lyrics at all!! they're sad!!)
