My bf saw a pic of my sister. He went on for half an hour on how hot she was. Of course my mood changed from a good one to a not so good one. He's not sure why I might be bothered. Should I be?

That depends...if you ever said that one of his brothers or friends was attractive, he can feel free to do so...my guess is that he was just trying to be nice, and by putting your sister down that would have not have made you feel good either. I am sure that he told you that while she might be smoking hot, you are still much hotter, right?

I see there are a lot of girls here who have sisters that are much better looking that them as well...a lot of bitterness...

As a true candidate of the male species..I think you have the right to SURELY be bothered. Know this most men are the same (possibly about 80%). Meaning they will cheat when the opportunity arises, married or not. There is however that small percentage of men who will never commit such a thing b/c they would not want it done to them either. But as stated it is a SMALL percentage. Most men won't admit it but I will! So ladies be careful and chose wisely!
What your bf said to you about your sis. is truly what he thinks..sometimes men speak the truth and make it seem like a joke do not be fooled it is truly what they think. Men aren't that good at not speaking their mind like women are!
Bottom line, I think he is probably even fantasizing about your sister right now as your reading this. So you can either dump him and get another guy or get out and live life and have fun, cheat while you still can before getting married!

I get the same thing with my boyfriends looking at my pics of my little sister. It's very annoying...and you have a right to be bothered. It's just disrespectful and...well...it kind of hurts your feelings. But just laugh it off and agree with him...men will always be men. If it's REALLY bothering you, just tell him to stop or just say a smart comment like "yeah good genes run in my family" and see if he replies with something about how hot you are too. If he doesn't...screw him.

Good luck!

Well, he sounds like a weird-o if you ask me. It was not necessary for him to go on so much. A simple "she's hot would have been enough. Maybe you should reconsider this guy. Maybe he will be coming over just to see your sister. Watch for the body language, you will be able to tell in a second. Then go with your instincts

Well, I sure wouldn't be pleased. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know you don't talk about another girl in front of your girlfriend, especially a sister!! Good Luck!

Yes, you should definitely be OFFENDED! Because now when he meets your sister in person, he'll try to f*ck her, seriously, keep them apart or you'll lose a bf and a sister !

Why would you even be with a guy like that? He should be concentrating on how *HOT* you are, not your sister!!!

Take Care and DUMP THAT LOSER

Hmmm...your partner raving about how hot your sister is for half an hour. If my partner raved about my brother for half an hour, yup, I'd be pissed off too.

He sounds incredibly thoughtless and self centred. I think you can do better than that. Find someone who raves about YOU for half an hour, instead of your sister!

I say no. My husband comments on my sister in pictures, but I trust him enough. He says that she's hot, but he chose me, so I shouldn't be so distraught over it. Guys never know how to react. It's how they are.

I would be bothered for sure. But at the same time, I would rather he said those things out loud instead of kept them to himself.
I would tell him that it bothered you and why.

is he stupid? yes. Even if he thought she was pretty he could have said it and moved on. Is he the type to cheat? Does he have any morals? Integrity? Has he ever cheated before? Is he afraid of commitment? these are the questions you must ask yourself. good luck. And let me say that even if he is a great and honorable guy he needs to take a class on common freakin sense. :) duh
