USGA and Royal and Ancient Rules are the same. Take 96% of the difference between par and your score. Rounded up your handicap would be 25.

The highest possible handicap if you only play par 64 courses would be 126, but in reality it is difficult to get a handicap over 60 (I had an 80 at the end of my first year of golf, it dropped to 64 by the next round I played)

A par 64? Really? Where is that? Most courses are 71 or 72- guess that is overseas? (Well for me here in the states)
