The French Foreign Legion is an elite part of the French army.
The training is very difficult & at times brutal!
I suggest you try Wikipedia for a full story on the Legion.

I saw a special on the foreign legion a couple of months ago on the military channel. I'm sure if you go to the military channel website you can find out about it.

my highschool teacher, my favorit was an legionnaire, and he gave me legion jacket, and F1 sac a dos (backpack) cuz i said i wanted to become one too, and he told me many story in africa and how brutal the force is, and every time he finish he finish as saying DO NOT JOIN, and TA GUELE PUTAIN!!! lol nice teacher

who the hell joins the french military?.......im sure you'll learn to stitch white cloth, with the best of them.
