well i like antique furniture but i could easily inertmix the too cause sometime u can get a really modern look by mixing in a bit of old but it al;so depends on my mood furniture is furniture so if i want all anitque then it might have be mabye in a section of the house like the library or a study but say modern might be the kitchen and the dinin area or i might mix it up in bedrooms and in the garden it really depends you really have to be certain kinda person to pick one or the other i just want to answer this question to the best of my abilities so that you get an idea of what i would prefer but big sprawling victoria mansion antique new home mix or inner city moder but nothing says style like modern country of yeah but i could go french country oh how i love this question your getting such a thumbs up

Both. This is called eclectic.

I personally lean towards antiques, however, there are really good modern furnitures that are just so slick and simple.

You will find that a mixture of both is really good so long as the pieces are really well designed, and well made. Reallyl well made modern furnitures become classic antique given several decades :)

Modern for sure. Leather is best for my taste, that is if you don't have any inddor pets. If you do you might also like that special fiber (I cant remember it now) that resists stains and is easy to clean. But antique is definately a no in my taste. Depends on your house style.

I like modern. I don't like feeling like I am living in a museum, I don't like having to be extra careful with the furniture I live with, if I want to put my feet up on the couch it shouldn't be like damaging a precious museum artifact.
