I think christians only believe in the trinity and the crusifiction just because is makes life easier. All they have to do is believe and they go to heaven.

But the truth is the trinity doesn't make any sense whats so ever in any way, shape or form. No christian has been able to explain it to me unless they call it a mystery.

Those things don't make life easier. Just believing and trust in God will help you through the hard times in life is all you need. Believing in the trinity and the crusifiction is good to know but it is better to know the things about God like that He is a God of love and many more things.

I'm 13 and i have recently encountered a problem understanding the Trinity i was late to school...because i during the time i was supposed to be getting ready i was asking so many questions...but thats where faith comes in....you just have to believe. i have a question about Jesus while He was here on Earth...but my dad doesn't know the answer so do i just stop believeing...no i have faith! no Christian can explain it...you are right. because no one truly understands it but you must have faith! Christian life is not easier...in fact it is harder...because God begins to give tests on faith...like now...and trust in Him. there are rules you must follow...they are not strict...but the rules are everything you must not and should do....and the things you should do are the things that are never done in America because we are selfish...and things we shouldn't do...those are the ones that get done...and no one tries to stop it...except for the people who go unnoticed and when they are noticed they are portrayed as psychos. the Trinity makes no sense to me either...but i believe it...i actually do understand it a little better. ALOT better. but i had so many questions. I read this in a book, one way to think of the Trinity is like this, imagine 3 lit candles in a room, theres 3 candles and together there is only one light.

Christian life is not easier...that is why so many give up or stop going to Christianity and go to wiccan stuff because there are "spells" to fix all of the problems and they require no faith or any work at all except for some candles in a circle and saying phrases that you have no clue what they mean. or some may even go to Islam...because its like it...but its easier...i have said before on other questions i believe that islam is satan in disguise. islam wants to look like Christianity....innocent, nothing bad...but its totally different! the Trinity is true....please believe me...for Heaven's sake, believe God! The Trinity is a mystery...there are many things that are mysteries in the Bible...because God didnt reveal them all...and some He has revealed but the Holy Spirit hasn't give us the complete understanding yet. In Isaiah, it says that God's mind wont think like ours...that His thoughts are above our thoughts...and that His words are above ours...those aren't the exact words...but i was just paraphrasing it. but anyways...God's mind isnt like ours...we have a human mind....we dont understand everything...but we understand alot....our mind is so sinful in its nature...that how could we possibly understand something so innocent? our mind is not God's....trust Him. you can ask me some questions about the Trinity...by messaging me...and I would love to answer them!

Trust Him...

Trinity is am early roman catholic attempt to define God.

It predates the roman church but the idea that is most commonly associated with the trinity is a roman catholic compilation.

The problem is God is simply to big for words. Any attempt to define or describe God fails immediately, because these attempts always end up being limitations on God.

If you say that God is this or God is that you are saying that God is not the opposite of this or that.

This is an impossibility because God is everything. This is why words fail so miserably when we try to use them to describe God. They were designed to describe physical objects in a physical reality and are ill equipped to describe spiritual ideas.

That's why the idea of the trinity seems not to make any sense.

How can two atoms of a gas and one atom of another gas combine to form a adifferent form called water? And isn't it rather odd that this substance we call water is what Christ likened the Godhead to. Water occurs in three forms. :solid, liquid and gas. All the very same thing but all completetlydifferent in form, shape, function and appearance The trinity is mysterious indeedyet it exists. Read the first chapter in the book Of Romans. It explains that the Creator designed nature to serve as a guidepost to understanding His nature. Hope this helps little one.

the Christian life is far from easy...it would be a lot easier to just do whatever i want whenever i want...being a Christian does not mean (contrary to a common misconception) that we just say 'i believe' and then just go about our business...if you check the new testament, you will find accounts of Christ telling people "go and sin no more"...being a Christian means more than just grace and salvation...it means following Christ's commandments to love God with all we have and love our neighbor as ourselves...it means always trying to move away from our sinful natures and closer to His example...

Have you seen the passion of the christ? Seeing that really makes me feel awful. Knowing that Jesus went through all of that for all of us. I don't think that believeing in it makes life easier, but when you see it I think it gives you a different perspective on life. It also depends on if you are a believer to.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

The trinity is the father, the son, and the holy spirit
They are all supposed to be God, but the father is not the son, the son is not the holy spirit, and the holy spirit is not the father.

What don't you get? lol

You're pre-supposing motives.

We don't believe things that make belief easier, we believe things that actually happened, and we usually don't try to explain or justify them.
