Because all we older pple screwed up the society. Many thought that what their parents taught them was old-fashioned and whack. So, we brought it salt and pepper and talked about sex...and went even further and partied like wild monkeys and smoked crack and weed and heroin and said fuc* the police and the teachers and school. Then we started showing panties and bras and boobs on TV like everyday.
So now the kids are so sexed up and so wired with the wrong priorities like booze and now these young parents are running around wondering what happened.
The question you should ask yourself is how come u are not screwed up and yet the younger kids are? Cause you were not bombarded with beer and sex all day and all night. We screwed it up. Mom and pop were correct but we called them fools. The joke's on us.

Some kids have a feeling of hopelessness. the poor kids who viewed the military as a way to get an education and out of the poverty of their lives. NOw realize that it holds nothing for them but maybe death in a foreign country. I was reading about the war games between the children In Iraq who view school as a waste of time. Feeling they will never get the chance to use it.
that is how a lot of kids in USA feel.
it is common in school to hear kids say it is only a matter of time until the country has an all out nuclear war and everyone dies.
The TV show Jerico is so true and ahead of us so what's the use.
The kids are glued to the TV on Wednesday night to see the show. Which by the way has way to many commercials.

because drinking these days is as much fun as it was back in the day. you stupid adults need to understand that it is your fault as parents. as a teen this **** is theeee ****. its makes you happy and careless. nothing is better with the stress of school

Same reason they always liked it......it's looked at as a right of passage. Kids want to grow up fast and do "adult" things.
