My ex broke up with me and he won't tell me why!?

Question

Ive been off & on with this guy for 7 years. We seperated and I moved to another state and we both went on to dif relationships. through about 3 years of being seperated we kept in touch and always maintained feelings for each other. 3 months ago I went back to my home state to visit, we ran into each other and spent a 2 nights together. He told me his love for me, cried to me, told me I was the only one for him, etc. I felt the same way & throughout the years had been in realtionships but he seemed to be the only one for me. I came back to were I live now with my grandmother& my 1yr old son. We maintained a long distance realtionship, talked everyday, he told me I was his soul mate, he wanted to marry me, & be a father to my son. Sent both my son & I gifts, he wrote long heart wrenching letters of his undying love for me, etc.2 days went by after V-day of him not answering my calls & I get a text that says he cant be my partner and refuses to tell more. why wont he tell me why????

Sounds like he may have someone else and doesn't want to continue stringing you along or he got caught and was forced to end it.

That's because long distant relationships are difficult to manage. You have to take in consideration in a relationship you and your partner have to be accessible. When you live in another state the relationship will become distant just like the miles in between the both of you. Think about it wouldn't you be disappointed and frustrated not being able to hug or see your partner when you want to?
