It was to prove He is God.. No one but God can make a dead man come back to life, so Jesus had to bring the same body back to life that He used while He was here. Everyone who knew Him recognized his face and knew who Jesus was.
He had to take that same body with Him to Heaven so it could never be used as evidence against Him by people who have already chosen not to believe in Him. As for what He has done with that body since then, I don't know and it really isn't any of my business. All I need to know about that body is that by bring it back to life, Jesus proved He is God. Nothing else I can think of would have been such a dramatic demonstration of the power of God. Lots of people can kill. Only God can return His own body to life.

your question is not clear. Are you suggesting that Jesus left a body here that He is coming back to pick to heaven? The true scriptural position is that Jesus was lifted up in bodily form to heaven.

He left His body so He could go to hell to tell those people they should be saved then make a quick stop in Heaven before coming back to earth in His body to surprise people who knew who He was.

Jesus did not take it back to heaven. He took it back to Kashmir were he recovered and spent the next 50 years teaching the locals his message of love and forgiveness.

Watch the youtube video Jesus Christ in India,
Or read the unknown life of Jesus by Nicholas Notovitch, or the autobiography of a yogi.

I don't really understand your question but, I don't think that there is a such thing as dying in the flesh and later returning in the flesh. Say I have little faith if you want but I'm not buying it.

I believe someone can RE-appear in spirit but not in the pure flesh form.

If he wasn't a body, he couldn't show anyone who he was. he needed he body to show that it was still him and came back to life. if he went back as a spirit no one would have known that he was God, he would have been just a good teacher.

LOL. Sorry, but that was a great question. You're right, only his soul would need to go back to heaven.

His wallet was in his pocket and he wanted to avoid ID theft, but it was too late. Look around. Jesus is everywhere these days.
