do you live in a rural area? i've heard of people doing this when someones dog gets on their property. it's not ok of course, but hillbillies are cruel
if someone came on your property and in your yard, hope it's fenced, and shot your dog, report it.
hope it's been to the vet. get the bullet and turn it over to the police. fingerprints, etc. it's not a human homicide but it can help track the perpetrator.
i would be on a mission!!!
someone is mad at the dog or you. and i'd move if i had to. a handgun for god's sake!!!
thank god she's alive. will she be OK?
I as well as many other animal lovers are here to help you. so keep us informed!!
i don't take this kind of thing lightly at all. if i couldn't get the person out of my neighborhood, i'd seriously would be protecting my propert and my family. my dogs are my family. so i would go as far as the law would let me!!!
keep us informed!!

because parents are too busy to be any part of their kids lives. They drop them off at school and the school is suppose to teach them the difference between right and wrong. Parents are also too self involved. Parents are also too stupid to realize that their kids are in the wrong and they believe every lie that there kids tell them. Parents have not taught their kids self respect.. so therefore the do not respect people in general. Parents have to realize that their kids have plenty of friends.....and that it is their job to be a parent...it is there job to prepare them for the future....but they don't....that is why we have kids and adults shooting at whatever .... because it is fun.....parents have failed their children, by not making them follow the rules. This is why ppl are so cruel.

Is your dog frequently barking and or howling? I have heard of this being done to dogs who are disturbing the peace. What might not be irritating to a dog owner can be very irritating to a neighbor who got tired of listening.

Because people are idiots(and other things I won't say since there are littleuns here) . This is a serious animal cruelty violation so make sure to call your local ASPCA and tell them what happened so this won't happen again. Good luck to your dog and her puppies.

How do you know the dog was in your yard when it was shot ? How do you know what sort of firearm was used to shoot the dog ?
I think there is more to this than you are telling us. You were warned to keep the dog under control, right ?

I think people like to see living things suffer. Did you take your dog to the vet? Or is she still suffering? I hope you have compassion and take her to the vet or call the animal shelter, they will at least help your dog/

FIRST I HOPE YOU BROUGHT HER TO THE VETS.SECOND DID YOU REPORT IT? SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST STUPID AND THINK THEY CAN DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT.BUT THE ALL MIGHTY SEES EVER THING..I HOPE SHE IS ALRIGHT.HOPEFULLY YOU WONT LET HER OUT OF YOUR SIGHT AGAIN.THIS PERSON SHOULD SUFFER THE SAME AS HE HAS DONE TO THE DOG,BUT THE LAWS DON'T ALLOW US TO PASS JUDGEMENT ONTO THEM..GO FIGURE MAYBE IF WE COULD THEY WOULD THINK TWICE..I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT FOR THE BEST FOR THE DOG AND YOU..
