I've never seen it in 20 years of working with brain-injured patients. I know it can happen, but the odds are really poor; maybe one in millions.

Wow, that's pretty long. I just talked to a guy that was out for three weeks and I thought that was long. No, it is not a good sign, but never give up hope.... stranger things have happened.
