Every sin possible in this world is written in the Bible. Reading the Bible only once will not give you a deep understanding of it. The Bible is something that must be continuously read over and over again because of the many words. Everything from weed to prostitution, homosexuality to cross dressing, gambling to spending too much time on the computer, bad thoughts to spending the day with your boys booty watching is all covered in the Bible.

i don't think so. Well, smoking weed is a sin to yourself. The ten commandments do say to love yourself, so you really aren't loving yourself by putting weed into your body. I don't think they are real sins, but God put you here on earth to live life and be happy and follow his rules. If smoking weed and gambling make you happy, then fine as long as you dont hurt others while doing so. I don't think God likes seeing his children hurt themselves, or be hurt by others, but smoking weed and gambling are not sins, as far as i know.

Here is an article "What is wrong with gambling"
http://www.watchtower.org/library/g/2002/7/22/article_02.htm
Drug abuse articles:
http://www.watchtower.org/library/g/2001/7/8/article_03.htm
Illicit drug abuse is just one facet of a larger global problem. An overwhelming influence for evil, violence, and cruelty grips the whole world. The Bible says: "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." (1 John 5:19) That "wicked one" is identified by the apostle John at Revelation 12:9: "So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him."

In addition to his own weaknesses, man has had to contend with this powerful enemy. Satan is the one who caused man's downfall at the start. He is determined to bring further degradation on mankind and to turn them away from God. Mankind's abuse of drugs appears to be a part of his strategy. He is acting with great anger because he knows that "he has a short period of time."—Revelation 12:12.
It is obvious that Jehovah is not pleased with smoking and drug abuse, by just looking at the results.smoking is harmful to the body, so , yes , it is wrong.Gambling is hard on the family-I knew of a man he had a house and much land, he lost the land and if it wasn't for the wife working they would have lost the house too.
HIs time could have been better spent making an honest living, because with gambling the rule is: easy come, easy go.
Jehovah want a man to provide for his family , smoking weed is expensive and ruins the working man's chance at making an honest living.

sin is usually desire gone waaaaaaaay overboard.

like thou shalt not lie: not wanting to hurt someone's feelings often causes a person to lie. not wanting to harm someone is okay, but telling a lie is still wrong. you can tell the truth and still be nice about it, so why lie?

a lying tongue: when you make a sin the norm, it tends to change you. if you lie constantly, who's gunna trust you to tell the truth? who'll believe you when you tell the truth?

smoking weed can be categorized as the desire to conform, to seek pleasure, or to disregard consequences. these to a minimal degree aren't sinful, but smoking weed not only damages your lungs, but your braincells also. should you really be committing slow suicide?

gambling is done for a lack of wisdom or a desire to gain, despite consequences. there's nothing wrong with taking certain risks, but gambling is something addicting and can become a personal "idol", as you'd do it even if you're instructed not to by God. Besides, is it right to risk your money, your possessions, your dignity? gambling, even a friendly poker game isn't wise. (strip poker is sexually immoral)

worst case senario: I play poker just for fun, no bets, just chips. then I get good. no one has yet beat me. so I start playing for small bets: a buck here, a shirt there. I'm still good, so I raise the stakes. $10, maybe $20.....$30. I keep playing, and I keep winning. I get $1000 when I win. My friends/spouse say(s) I'm going to far, but i don't listen. I bet higher: my paycheck, my car, the house! until I meet a shark. He challenges me to 3 games. the first I win. the second is double or nothing. I win. the third I win also, so I think "I'm undefeatable!". But then a better shark comes alontg, and I lose....everything.

it is not possible to make a list pf the sins. they are not unfortunately numerus clausus. Being a muslim, I believe that wisdom is our gift and if there is anything you feel suspicious you must find the answer there. Holy books lead our way, but one must know to interprete to see behind. In Quran gambling is a sin. smoking weed is not mentioned. but I believe it is since it harms the body you have to take care of and spoils your brain. It will be wise not to commit the actions that you doubt.

Christians are to work for their income. “Work with your hands, just as we ordered you, so that you may be walking decently as regards people outside and not be needing anything.” “When we were with you, we used to give you this order: ‘If anyone does not want to work, neither let him eat.’ To such persons we give the order and exhortation in the Lord Jesus Christ that by working with quietness they should eat food they themselves earn.” “Make honest provision, not only in the sight of Jehovah, but also in the sight of men.” “Provide the right things in the sight of all men.” “Certainly if anyone does not provide for those who are his own, and especially for those who are members of his household, he has disowned the faith and is worse than a person without faith.” (1 Thess. 4:11, 12; 2 Thess. 3:10, 12; 2 Cor. 8:21; Rom. 12:17; 1 Tim. 5:8, NW) Gambling is not rendering service for the money you win; it is getting something for nothing from someone who does not want you to have it. Moreover, gambling often becomes a fever with some and they lose so much that they are no longer able to provide for their own.

The Bible also teaches moderation in all things. I don't know of anyone who engages in smoking weed or gambling that does it on a moderate basis.
