It is true, if you grew up all your life learning everything about religion and Jesus, and that you incorporate it in your every day life, if one day you suddenly wake up and hear that everything you have believed in was nothing but pure fiction, then wouldn't you feel like your life has been nothing but a waste, you have done everything you could to devote yourself to Jesus, and then find out it was for nothing? I think that would kill a person's soul.
