Some still have that hope that he'll be there. Even though I'm an atheist, I have prayed before when I was in some of my most vulnerable moments.

Not that it did any good, mind you. If anything, praying and recieving no answer for my prayers did nothing but solidify my belief that there is no God.

Where did you get that from and also the word god is used just as a word now as in oh my god and that to some it means nothing more than any other word

A lot of atheists say "Oh my God" or "God, no" or something like that. It doesn't mean that they are praying or referencing God. It is just part of English vernacular, I guess.

Sorry but that's an outright lie. Just like every other one you christians tell.
In 2003 I almost died in a car accident. Trust me when I tell you that talking to an imaginary sky-pixie was the LAST thing on my mind.

How exactly do you know this? It's just your opinion, right? You don't know for a fact that atheists do this, do you? I have been in two life-threatening situations myself and one with my daughter and NOT ONCE did I call out to something that doesn't exist. My, aren't you full of yourself?
