Comedones (blackheads) are simply caused from the sebum in your pores reacting with oxygen and this changes the colour to black. If you use a cleanser and a lotion (toner), followed by a moisturiser twice a day you should see results within one to two weeks. Also use a non abrasive exfoliant twice a week and a mud, drying mask once a week on the affected area.
You can use this in conjunction with the pore strips.

This worked for me:
Boil up some water and place in a bowl, place your face over the bowl so that all the steam hits your face.
This opens up all the pored in your face. Wash thoroughly with hot water and soap. Then quickly wash off and throw cold water all over your face to close the pores back up
Do this twice a day for a week and it will make a big difference

Biore nose strips removes black heads. You put the strip on your nose, leave it for 15 minutes, then when you take the strip off, the blackheads come out and they stay on the strip. Try It.

Wash with warm water. If you can hold a warm damp towel on your nose you will be able to soften them, then wash them away with warm water. Don't wash hard, or use strong soap, or you will irritate your nose and make it look red and swollen, just use warm water and weak dillute soap and repeat with the warm damp towel over and over. It works.

You should use face mask often, or get your facial done every other mouth. That will keep your pores clean it will minmise and remove dirt and oils. Of cause you won't have large pores, blackheads that will remove yourhead, just keep your skin clean.
