hey, i'd like to know has anyone ever had to cut their own hair cause they had no other choice, (no money or just curious) and what was your experience with it?and how would you get it into layers?

I cut my own bangs, but nothing else. If you dont know how to cut hair you might better not try it.I would hate for you to mess up your hair and be crying .

I've cut my own hair since I was 15. A friend showed me a basic haircut and I've worked on it for like 20 years. Trimming the ends is so simple. But layers are easy to. Like so:
Take an inch-wide partition of hair. For layers, hold it straight up in the air. For Rachel-like end-flips, hold it straight out to the side. Use this basic principle and good judgment and it should be ok.

I cut my own hair because I have never found someone to cut my hair exactly how I want it. As for layers I've never done that myself nor have I ever had layers.

I've never tried it and i never would either. Its probably not the best idea because it will probably come out uneven and jacked up. Best to wait until you have the money to get it done by a professional!

the most i have ever done to my hair cutting it wise, is trimming it. Im no barber or stylist LOL So i let them to do the hard work :))
