Should I re-dye my hair to black?

Question

I originally had naturally black hair with pale skin but then I went and ruined it by dying my hair brown and turning it red! I've been wanting to dye my hair black again to get it to it's natural color.......but everyone is telling me not to because they tell me that I will look goth and it won't look natural. What should I do?

hi,
when you try to go lighter with home products, it's just not powerful enough to bring it up, in color, and make it the brown you wanted. hence, the red hair. the dye just stripped your hair partially of color.
i suggest you see a professional. a hairdresser can take you close to your natural color, with a softer black (not goth) and maybe use the red for lowlights... and the a shade lighter for highlights... to break up the all black hair, until you are all grown out to your virgin hair,

The way I see it, ya have 2 choices: Either go ahead and dye it back or just wait for it to grow out. I have brown hair and tried to go blond once, It turned my hair orange. I dyed it back the next day cause I didnt like it. Do you like your hair being red? If people are sayin that you'll look Goth if you dye it, ask them what ya looked like before ya dyed it in the first place.

You should let your hair be it's natural color and not care what people think of you. But if you care what people think of you try dyeing your hair a lighter shade brown. Or a different color.

if your natural hair is jet black then you mayaswell dye it. (my natural hair is black not jet black but i put brown highlights in it and if i dye it black it looks fake, and i have darkish tan skin) but if your hair is brownish then dont, it wont look natural and you may look goth/emo. it is very rare fot white people to have jet black hair. hope i helped..x

If your natural hair colour is black and skin colour is white then dye it brown.Because,black hair with white skin is really weird.---------
