There was a guy that really liked me 6 years ago. I just recently got back in contact with him. We went out one time after talking again and he kissed me. It's obvious that I like him. He's even asked me why i still like him. When I see him (out dancing) he's very kind, smiles alot, gives me compliments and flirts and he dances very close to me. He even gave me his cell# AND asked me to send him messages online, BUT when I call he never returns my calls (he did once) and he never answers my online messages. I KNOW he's not married or has a girlfriend.

Me personally I think there is no one answer. Every guy thinks a little different. One thing is for sure ladies. If you show us no attention we will stop the chase and move on soon. But there's also levels of aggressiveness and areas of aggression. Some like what others don't. Relationships are all about the discovery of bonding with another person. There is no exact science. You learn as you go. Give your best and hope for the best is all you can really expect. Nice girls by the way really do finish last, mean girls are soon forgotten. And the same for you guys out there. Respect and love your woman and she will do the same for you. If not, then it's not love it's just what it is.

The question and description are two separate entities.

Answer to the question: Personally, I don't want to be "challenged" with my feelings. I want to have a woman who wants me. If you're honest and really want to be with me, that's better than the mind games.

As for your man, he's not ready to date right now. He could be busy, he could have someone else on his mind, he could be religious, he could be gay. Stick around but don't expect him to suddenly change and fall for you.

He is playing hard to get.
I have a boy friend and he constantly states "he is busy"

But I know he loves me and just isn't ready to accept it yet.

I am still nice and I know I will finish last.

Sounds like he really likes you but thinks that acting that way is what you want him to do, ie; hard to get
