I just did this for an online store. You need to find a wholesaler--one who charges prices low enough so that you can charge retail. I'd also do a very thorough search on the products that you want to sell to see what the hot items are. I just googled Wholesalers Golf and got a bunch of hits. Check out each website. Look for products from a buyers point of view. What are hot sellers? What are they charging retail. I'd do the same thing with every type of item you would like to sell. (wholesalers golf clubs etc.). Are you doing this as an online seller, or brick and morter? You need to make enough money to both cover your costs, and make some money for you. Have some money socked away because a start up business is pretty cash intensive. Be prepared to do a lot of research before you lock in.

Talk to company reps, they always have local shows. They have one in my area New Mexico next week. You can also go to your local PGA section web site for a list. One last place to get info would be www.golf2020.com

There's a ton of work. You have to get approval from the municipality, registered, a bunch of stuff, then find wholesalers to buy equipment from.
