Xian is how u spell it for a boy, and xiann is how u spell it for a girl. it's a Galician name, and i've looked and i can't find the meaning for xiann

Well, Xi'an is the capital of Shannxi province in China.
Xian is hanyu pinyin - mandarin phonetic for the character 娴 which means "refined".
It can also be a dialect translation (Hokkien in this case) for boring.
Xian for some people - stands for Christian.
